a) Print it out.
b) Fill in the required spaces (at the beginning and end, in legible handwriting), and include your name and last name, and full address including city, province and state (if applicable).
c) Sign EACH PAGE in the space provided. Please try to make the signature legible.
d) Scan it (or take a picture of it with your phone, if you prefer) and send it to us with an ID picture when asked, inside the FOLLOWING FORM.
e) If you’re coming to volunteer for one day or as a resident, please deliver a copy of the agreement by hand.
WHY WE ASK: The national law on volunteering (last amended on October 2015) requires that we ask for your personal information to keep a Registry of Volunteers, with the purpose of perfecting the volunteer agreement. We also must ask for your ID number. We pledge not to use your information according to law and to not pass it on to others.
IF YOU HAVE FINISHED THESE 2 STEPS, CONGRATULATIONS! 🙂 WE’LL SEND YOU A REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION E-MAIL. YOU CAN’T COME TO THE SANCTUARY OR START WORKING ONLINE OR IN EVENTS IF YOU DON’T RECEIVE IT OR WE DON’T CONNECT YOU TO THE DEPARTMENT OF YOUR CHOICE. IN BOTH CASES YOU MUST WAIT FOR OUR CONFIRMATION.
IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN BEING A RESIDENT VOLUNTEER:
Once you’ve filled in the form and sent us the agreement and picture, we’ll send you an email with the information necessary to contact the person that will interview you on the phone or on Skype.
YOU CAN ONLY BE A RESIDENT VOLUNTEER AFTER SAID INTERVIEW
